BUY OF THE WEEK

Alexander Isak NEW £6.7

GW33 Projected Points: 4.0
UPCOMING FIXTURES:
EVE (A) SOU (H) ARS (H)LEE (A) / BHA (H)

Isak has been magnificent as of late, with 6 goals since GW28 making him one of the hottest forwards in the league. Managers looking to buy a new forward this GW should look at Isak, given his fixtures and being one of the best captaincy options in GW36 when he has his DGW. Isak has the 6th easiest remaining schedule for attackers giving him a huge upside for those double-digit hauls. With a 0.64 xGI per 90 minutes since the World Cup restart playing for an attack in red-hot form (especially at home), Isak is a great pick for the rest of the season.

Diogo Jota LIV £8.8

GW33 Projected Points: 3.2
UPCOMING FIXTURES:
WHU (A)TOT (H) / FUL (H)BRE (H)LEI (A)

A punt last GW, Jota delivered 2 goals with a massive 13-pointer. Jota remains a punt, given there is the uncertainty of his minutes with all of the forward options Liverpool has. However, Jota has started the last five games and, even in 30 minutes, can always haul. Moving forward, Jota is a great differential with the 4th easiest schedule for the rest of the season, including a DGW34. Jota’s underlying stats are good as well, with a 0.49 xGI per 90 minutes this season. Jota is a great pick for those chasing rank, as he will be lowly owned but has the chance for massive hauls each GW.

SELL OF THE WEEK

Harry Kane TOT £11.6

GW33 Projected Points: 5.2
UPCOMING FIXTURES:
MUN (H)LIV (A)CRY (H)AVL (A)

Mr. Consistent was at it again in GW32 as he scored his 24th goal of the season with a well-taken strike against Newcastle. As is the case all season, Kane has not been explosive but continues to tick along every GW. Moving forward, Kane will continue to tick along, but the issue is that his price tag is not worth the value, given he has no double GWs left, and he will not be a captaincy option for the rest of the season. Managers that still have Kane can downgrade him to a player like Isak and use those funds to upgrade a midfielder to a Salah, who has a DGW in 34 and great future fixtures.

Ivan Toney BRE £7.7

GW33 Projected Points: 4.7
UPCOMING FIXTURES:
CHE (A)NFO (H)LIV (A)WHU (H)

Toney somehow managed to avoid a 2-game suspension by not getting a yellow card in his last six matches. Despite this, Toney is still a sell as his fixtures and lack of DGWs. Toney has the hardest fixtures remaining for attackers, and with other forwards that do have a DGW, there are just better options than Toney. Toney will continue to tick along this season, and he can score against anyone but managers that do want to chase the upside should look elsewhere. Thus, managers should upgrade Toney to a player like Jota or downgrade him to a player like Isak, who has looked explosive in recent GWs and have upcoming double GWs.
