BUY OF THE WEEK

Trent Alexander Arnold LIV £7.4

GW33 Projected Points: 4.2
UPCOMING FIXTURES:
WHU (A)TOT (H) / FUL(H)BRE (H)LEI (A)

Another GW, another great attacking performance by Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has absolutely shined in his new midfield-ish role giving him 4 assists in his last 3 league matches. TAA remains a buy this GW, given his upcoming fixtures and great attacking upside. TAA has the 4th easiest schedule for defenders over the rest of the season, raising his upside thanks to his chances of clean sheets and attacking returns. TAA’s attacking underlying stat has also improved as of late, with an xGI of 0.48 per 90 mins. With good underlying stats and form, TAA remains the best defender to buy going into GW33.

Pervis Estupinan BHA £4.8

GW33 Projected Points: 3.8
UPCOMING FIXTURES:
NFO (A)WOL (H) / MUN (A)EVE (H)ARS (A) / NEW (A)

With their blank in GW32, many managers seem to have forgotten about Brighton assets. With 3 upcoming DGWs, it is important to have the best Brighton assets. In the defense, Pervis Estupinan continues to be that defender giving him a high attacking upside and Brighton’s fixtures. Brighton has the easiest defensive schedule over the rest of the season. Estupinan’s underlying stats are decent since the World Cup restart, with a 0.13 xGI per 90 over that time. However, Estupinan is more of an eye test watch as he always makes bursting runs into the box, which should reward their managers with those attacking returns.

SELL OF THE WEEK

Ben Chilwell CHE £5.9

GW33 Projected Points: 3.5
UPCOMING FIXTURES:
BRE (H) ARS (A) BOU (A) NFO (H)

Chilwell continues to be disappointing for managers as he has only 1 clean sheet and 0 attacking returns since most managers brought him in GW28. Chilwell is an expensive asset playing for a team that has nothing to play for. Chelsea has also struggled to keep clean sheets lately, with only 2 clean sheets in their last 10 league games.  Chilwell does have a DGW left in GW37, but these are two away games against both tough Manchester teams. Managers who still own Chilwell should look to upgrade him to a high-upside player like Alexander-Arnold or downgrade him to a player like Pervis Estupinan to open up funds.

Oleksandr Zinchenko ARS  £5.2

GW33 Projected Points: 1.9
UPCOMING FIXTURES:
MCI (A)CHE (H)NEW (A)BHA (H)

With only 1 clean sheet in their last 7 matches, the Arsenal defense is struggling, especially with the loss of stout CB Saliba. This has affected the fantasy value of their defensive assets, such as Gabriel and Zinchenko, who are both sells going into GW33. Arsenal has tough fixtures and has no DGWs remaining, limiting Zinchenko’s upside. Arsenal’s tough fixtures give them the 3rd hardest schedule for defenses over the rest of the season, making it hard to predict that clean sheets are on the horizon. Managers that still have Zinchenko should look to move him to a Trent Alexander-Arnold or a Pervis Estupinan.
